I do not have any photos to show for Malawi. It seems that in the time I spent there I was generally taking it easy along the lake side. In Senga Bay John the barman there managed to force me to drink an entire bottle of Malawi brandy, something I would not recommend to anyone but the most ardent masochist.
Malawi was also a fantastic place to pick up wood carvings, either pre-made or bespoke. The quality of workmanship is very high and the prices are very low.
My most enduring memories of Malawi are however that it was very relaxed, whether along the lake side or up in the Nyeka plateau. Even Lilongwe was relatively laid back for a central African capital.
